About Michael Kenna

Michael Kenna is an English black and white landscape photographer. His preference to photograph mist, rain and snow along with unpopulated landscapes leave his work with an ethereal atmosphere.

Kenna (born 1953 in Widnes, England) has spent five decades photographing landscapes at dawn, dusk and night, often with exposures lasting hours. His small, exquisitely printed silver gelatin photographs, from English rivers and French gardens to the snowbound trees of Hokkaido, are among the most collected landscape photographs of the past half century, and his prints are held in numerous museum collections worldwide.

We have 2 works by Michael Kenna at the gallery right now, spanning 1975 to 1984. Mediums include gelatin silver print. Ask us for prices on any of the works below.
